i wear your shirt

cool site & service! For roughly a grand you can buy a "day" from iwearyourshirt.com and the five sneaky little loompas there will promote your business/company/you by creating original content on your day - YouTube videos, five live Ustream videos, photos & more. They will then promote the content on Facebook & Twitter. Cool or what?

Best part (for me) is: I accidentally ran into their site while searching for something else on Google image search - which just means I need to hang out with Google image search more. Thank you. Come again.

die comic sans, die!!

unless you are my 65 year old mother from Brazil putting church flyers together for a bake sale, you really don't have any decent excuse for using Comic Sans (spit). And even if you ARE my mother, you're going to use it only once because Else Bear will sit your butt down and school you on proper font usage.

Funny enough, imagine if these famous logos were redone w/ Comic Sans. Lord, help us.

homegrown creative ♥

again, more work by some kansas city creatives. i love jordan's work & realized I never blogged about it so I'll be posting more homegrown love by local folks. It may not all be brand new to us in KC but it's work worth talking about for all the other folks out there.

What happens when you stop trying to be all things to all people? You win.

Piperlime is asking ladies to take a stand against sneakers, sweatpants and flip flops and our local awesome advertising jedi, Tug McTighe, blogged about it. "It appears that Piperlime understands that it's better for some to love you and some to hate you than for all to feel indifferent about you"

Very cool read. via the American Copywriter blog Check it out here >>
